According to a report by BBC Sport on Saturday, October 31, 2026, The focus of Chelsea has turned to the upcoming matches following their impressive Premier League triumph over Manchester United. Xabi Alonso's team will be looking to build on that performance as they get ready for five crucial league matches.

Sunderland will be Chelsea's first opponent on November 8. The Blues will be looking to keep their winning streak going on the road when they visit the Stadium of Light for this encounter.

After their match against Sunderland, the London club will play in front of their home fans once again on November 21 when Leeds United travel to Stamford Bridge. With home field advantage, Chelsea will be looking to keep their valuable points in the match.

After that, on November 27, the Blues will travel once again to take on Nottingham Forest. This is going to be a tough match for Alonso's team because they need to keep their consistency and find a way to beat their opponents.

On December 2, Chelsea will host Crystal Palace in their next home match. Another major event on their schedule is the London derby, so you can bet that the players will be putting their best foot forward to win and delight their fans.

When Liverpool visits Stamford Bridge on December 5, it will finish the Blues' run of five consecutive Premier League matches. Chelsea will face another tough test in this matchup, as both teams are likely to play hard for crucial points.

As Chelsea prepare for these five matches, they must stay focused and avoid any unneeded setbacks. How well they play now could determine where they finish in the Premier League and give Xabi Alonso a better idea of how far they can take them this season.
