CAIRO, EGYPT — 3 NOVEMBER 2026

South African football coach Rulani Mokwena continues to strengthen his reputation on the international stage after guiding Egyptian giants Pyramids FC to an incredible 14th consecutive victory.

Mokwena's remarkable winning streak continued with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Smouha in the Egyptian League Cup, further underlining the impressive transformation and consistency of his team under his leadership.

The latest victory represents another significant achievement for the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates coach, who has continued to attract attention through his work in Egyptian football.

Winning 14 matches consecutively is no ordinary achievement, particularly in a competitive football environment where teams face different tactical challenges and increasing pressure to maintain their standards.

For Mokwena, however, the latest result demonstrates the consistency, determination and winning mentality that he has been working to establish at Pyramids FC.
