Why Tim Sukazi Says Kaizer Chiefs Put R2 From Every Packet Towards New Players

According to iDiski TV pundit Junior Khanye, Kaizer Chiefs' 3-0 Carling Knockout Cup first-round victory over TS Galaxy at FNB Stadium on Tuesday was decided by a goal from Wandile Duba.

Amakhosi advanced to the quarterfinals thanks to a sensational second half display by the 22-year-old striker, who scored all three goals. He solidified his place as one of the Chiefs' go-to forwards with his hat trick, which brought his season goal total to six in all competitions.

Ex-Kaizer Chiefs winger Khanye lauded Duba's precision finishing and doggedness all game long. Assuming the young striker can master the art of constant performance, he thinks he has what it takes to become a star for the club.

Khanye praised his clinical performance in today's game, saying, "Well done to him" on iDiski TV.

He was the game-changer, in my opinion. The lad is full of grit and determination. That is my observation. He makes good use of his inflated sense of self-importance on the pitch, although he does need to rein it down occasionally.

Additionally, Khanye cautioned Duba to be cautious with his post-goal celebrations, saying that they could draw criticism in games when he doesn't score.

The fact that it will be used against him in the three or four games when he fails to score makes it unnecessary for him to do so. We will cheer for him when he scores, so long as he stays quiet and gets the job done, Khanye added.

Khanye praised Duba's smart runs, strength with the ball, and capacity to capitalise on defensive errors, although he questioned whether Duba was the most talented striker. These traits, in his opinion, make the kid a threat in the last third of games.

Tim Sukazi, chairman of TS Galaxy, has made the allegation that the Kaizer Chiefs utilise the money they make from potato chips to purchase players. Sukazi claims that the club allocates R2 from each packet sale to fund player acquisitions. The reason Amakhosi prefers to pay for players in installments rather than a one-time payment, he explained. The chips, according to Sukazi, are a major commodity for the club, and a part of the proceeds go toward player transfers.

Khanye thinks Duba can become a main striker for Chiefs, but he needs to be consistent if he wants to continue his strong play from TS Galaxy.
