The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed when Mamelodi Sundowns will face Golden Arrows in the Carling Knockout Cup quarter-finals, with the two teams scheduled to meet on 3 November 2026.
The announcement provides clarity for both clubs as they prepare for the next stage of the competition, where a place in the semi-finals will be at stake.
Sundowns and Golden Arrows will play their quarter-final encounter on Tuesday, 3 November. The PSL has not yet released the specific kick-off time or venue details in the announcement provided.
The remaining three quarter-final matches are scheduled to take place during the weekend of 7 and 8 November 2026. However, supporters will have to wait for further communication from the league before knowing the exact dates and arrangements for those fixtures.
The PSL said details for the other matches would be confirmed in due course, meaning the full quarter-final schedule is still being finalised.
The staggered arrangement means Sundowns and Golden Arrows will play before the other three quarter-final pairings, giving both teams a separate date for their attempt to reach the last four.
For supporters, the confirmation marks another important step in the build-up to the knockout stage, as clubs turn their attention to the possibility of lifting the Carling Knockout Cup.
The competition now enters a decisive phase, with every quarter-final carrying the pressure of a knockout contest. Unlike league fixtures, there is no opportunity to recover points in a later match for teams eliminated at this stage.
Sundowns and Golden Arrows will therefore be focused on securing a result when they meet on 3 November, while the other six quarter-finalists await the final fixture details for their matches on 7 and 8 November.
The league is expected to provide the outstanding information as arrangements for the remaining quarter-finals are completed.
