ARSENAL VS HULL CITY
According to a report by BBC Sport on Saturday, November 7, 2026, Arsenal claimed a slim 1-0 win over Hull City at the Emirates Stadium, with captain Martin Odegaard scoring the decisive goal in the second half.
The Gunners enjoyed the majority of possession and created several chances but struggled to find the breakthrough until the 72nd minute, when Odegaard finally put them ahead.
Mikel Arteta’s men dictated the pace of the encounter and threatened on several occasions before the interval. Declan Rice came close to opening the scoring with attempts from distance and a header, but Hull goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis was equal to the challenge, producing impressive saves to keep his team in the contest.
Arsenal also had a penalty appeal overturned following a VAR check after Kai Havertz went down inside the penalty area. The decision was eventually ruled out because the forward had been in an offside position.
The decisive moment came when Noni Madueke tested Tzolakis with a powerful effort inside the box. Although the goalkeeper managed to keep out the initial attempt, Odegaard reacted fastest to the rebound and sent a low finish into the net.
Arsenal continued to search for a second goal, but Madueke saw another effort blocked by a Hull defender, while Eberechi Eze also posed a threat towards the end of the match. However, the visitors remained organised and determined to prevent further damage.
Hull struggled to create clear-cut chances, while David Raya helped Arsenal protect their narrow advantage. The Gunners recorded 20 attempts, with nine on target, compared to Hull’s seven efforts and two shots on target.
The victory earned Arsenal all three points after a dominant attacking performance, although they had to work hard to secure the result.
LEEDS UNITED VS TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
Leeds United picked up an important 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Elland Road, with substitute Noah Okafor scoring the winning goal in the 79th minute.
The forward reacted quickest after Antonin Kinsky saved an initial effort inside the penalty area before firing the rebound into the net to hand Leeds all three points
Both sides had opportunities to take the lead during the encounter, but goalkeepers James Trafford and Kinsky made several important interventions. Tottenham threatened through Mohammed Kudus and Omar Marmoush, while Leeds came close to scoring through Lukas Nmecha and Sean Longstaff.
The decisive breakthrough eventually arrived after Longstaff produced an effort that Kinsky managed to save. Okafor, who had come on shortly before in place of Nmecha, was perfectly positioned to collect the rebound and find the back of the net.
Tottenham increased their attacking pressure in search of an equaliser, but Leeds goalkeeper Trafford came to his team's rescue with an excellent late save to deny Jan Paul van Hecke.
Leeds successfully protected their advantage through five minutes of stoppage time to secure a valuable home victory.
NOTTINGHAM FOREST VS MANCHESTER CITY
Nottingham Forest produced an impressive performance to defeat Manchester City 3-1, claiming all three points after a dominant display against the visitors.
The hosts made a flying start to the encounter, with Cunha opening the scoring in the sixth minute before Liam Delap extended their advantage just 12 minutes later to make it 2-0.
Manchester City found it difficult to respond before half-time, despite creating opportunities through Erling Haaland and Enzo Fernandez. However, Pep Guardiola’s side managed to reduce the deficit seven minutes into the second half when Rayan Cherki produced a superb strike into the top-left corner.
City pushed forward in an attempt to draw level, but Nottingham continued to pose a threat on the counterattack. Their efforts were rewarded in the 73rd minute when Delap completed an impressive individual move with a powerful finish to restore the hosts' two-goal cushion.
Manchester City made further changes in an effort to launch a comeback, but they were unable to find another goal. Nottingham Forest remained disciplined defensively and successfully maintained their advantage until the final whistle, sealing a convincing 3-1 victory.
