The future of young attacker Wandile Duba as a senior South African international is bright, according to Kaizer Chiefs head coach Fernando da Cruz.

Da Cruz is proud of how far the young player has come with Amakhosi and how he has kept his profile up. The coach, though, thinks that Duba can play better if he is more consistent. Despite all the ups and downs, I'm happy for Duba because he's still a young player. His consistency needs work, Da Cruz said.

Duba has the potential to play at a higher level, according to the French coach. Also, he knows that playing at a high level consistently is essential for a player's development.

With Duba's potential to rise up the ranks, coach Hugo Broos may have another young attacker to choose from when Bafana Bafana needs one. Helping the 21-year-old establish himself on the club level is our top priority right now.

The Chiefs' coaching staff believes Duba can become a global football superstar, as Da Cruz's remarks show. Once he can turn his promising performances into regular ones, he could solidify his place on the Bafana Bafana roster.
