ACHRAF HAKIMI MAKES HISTORY! Moroccan Defender Nets Stunning Hat-Trick and Provides Two Assists in PSG’s 5-1 Victory

Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi produced a sensational performance as the French champions secured an impressive 5-1 victory over Le Havre in their Ligue 1 encounter on Friday, 30 October 2026.

The Moroccan international stole the spotlight with an extraordinary display, scoring three goals and registering two assists to inspire PSG to another convincing victory.

Hakimi’s remarkable contribution saw him play a direct role in all five of his team's goals, making it one of the most memorable performances of his professional career.

Despite PSG entering the encounter as favourites, the hosts made a promising start at Stade Océane.

Le Havre striker Josh Maja stunned the visitors by opening the scoring in the 18th minute, temporarily putting the home side in control.

However, PSG quickly recovered, with Hakimi leading an impressive comeback.

The Moroccan defender provided the assist for Mika Godts, who scored the equaliser in the 26th minute to bring the visitors back into the contest.

Only two minutes later, Hakimi demonstrated his attacking instincts by advancing into the penalty area and finding the back of the net to put PSG ahead 2-1.

The French champions maintained their advantage heading into halftime before returning with even greater attacking determination in the second period.

Hakimi continued his outstanding performance in the 55th minute when he converted a spectacular free kick to increase PSG’s lead to 3-1.

His influence did not end there, as he created another scoring opportunity for Senny Mayulu, who extended the advantage to 4-1 in the 62nd minute.

Seven minutes later, Hakimi completed his historic hat-trick with another clinical finish, sealing a commanding 5-1 victory for Luis Enrique’s side.

The achievement marked the first hat-trick of the 27-year-old defender’s professional career, adding another remarkable milestone to his growing list of accomplishments.

What made the performance even more exceptional was Hakimi’s natural position on the pitch.

Although primarily deployed as a right-back, the Moroccan star demonstrated attacking qualities normally associated with forwards and attacking midfielders.

His impressive pace, intelligent positioning, creativity and finishing ability caused constant problems for Le Havre’s defence throughout the encounter.

By contributing three goals and two assists, Hakimi once again highlighted why he is regarded as one of the most dangerous attacking full-backs in world football.

His performance also underlined the importance of having versatile players capable of making decisive contributions in different areas of the pitch.

For PSG manager Luis Enrique, the result represented another encouraging step in the club’s pursuit of domestic and European honours.

The Spanish tactician will undoubtedly be delighted with his team's attacking display, particularly after introducing changes to his starting line-up.

The convincing victory strengthened PSG’s position at the top of the Ligue 1 standings, taking their points tally to 20 after nine league matches.

The Parisian giants now hold a two-point advantage over second-placed Lille as the competition for the French championship continues.

Furthermore, the triumph extended PSG’s impressive winning streak to nine consecutive matches across all competitions, highlighting their excellent form.

While the entire team contributed to the victory, Hakimi's extraordinary five-goal involvement ensured that he emerged as the standout performer.

For the Moroccan international, the unforgettable night against Le Havre will remain a special moment in his career, demonstrating that defenders can also deliver match-winning attacking performances.

With PSG continuing to build momentum, Hakimi’s exceptional form could prove crucial as the club aims to maintain its dominance in France and challenge for major European silverware.
