Golden Arrows midfielder Nhlanhla Zwane has praised the quality within the club's squad, insisting that the competition and support from his teammates have played an important role in his development and impressive performances.

The talented midfielder has continued to attract attention with his contribution to Abafana Bes'thende, showing growing confidence and determination as he establishes himself as an important figure within the team.

Zwane believes his progress has not been achieved through individual effort alone. Instead, he has credited the collective strength of the Golden Arrows squad for pushing him to improve his standards and maintain a high level of performance.

Speaking about his development, the midfielder highlighted how the quality of his teammates has motivated him to work harder and become a better footballer.

"I believe we have a strong squad, for me to be at the level where I am, it's because of the guys, they sharpen me to pick up myself and keep on working hard," Zwane said.

His comments reflect the positive environment within the Golden Arrows dressing room, where competition for places can encourage players to maintain their focus and continuously improve.

For a young midfielder looking to establish himself in the Betway Premiership, having experienced and talented teammates can make a significant difference. The opportunity to train alongside quality players allows individuals to learn, develop and understand the demands of professional football.

Zwane's appreciation of his teammates also highlights the importance of teamwork at a club that has consistently provided opportunities for emerging South African football talent.

Golden Arrows have built a reputation for developing competitive players, and the midfielder will be hoping to continue benefiting from the club's environment as the season progresses.

His performances are also important for head coach Manqoba Mngqithi, who will be looking for consistency from his midfield department as the Durban-based outfit targets positive results in the league.

The 2026/27 Betway Premiership campaign presents another opportunity for Zwane to demonstrate his abilities and establish himself among the division's promising midfielders.

While individual recognition is always encouraging, the midfielder appears focused on collective improvement rather than personal achievements.

His message is also a reminder that success in football is rarely achieved alone. Behind every improving player is a team that challenges, supports and motivates him to reach greater heights.

Golden Arrows supporters will certainly hope Zwane can maintain his impressive development and continue making valuable contributions as the campaign unfolds.
