SEDIBENG.- Jomo Cosmos will be out to claim a win against Spartans FC when the two meet in an ABC Motsepe League Stream B match at Duduza Stadium in Ekurhuleni on Saturday.

Kick-off time is at 15:00.

Cosmos comes into this encounter after a goalless draw against Dube Continental FC away from home.

They have improved their position on the log, sitting fifth with seven points from four games they played so far this season. Cosmos has moved their games to Duduza Stadium after Isak Steyl Stadium was closed for construction.

Spartans FC were among the SAFA region clubs that were automatically promoted to the ABC Motsepe League.

This was after SAFA’s decision not to relegate teams at the end of the previous season.

It will notbe a walk in the park.

As a result of this, the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League was divided into two streams, Stream A and B, with Cosmos campaigning in Stream B.

It won’t be a walk in the park for Ezenkosi as Spartans FC are also desperate for maximum points to close the gap at the top. As things stand, they sit tenth on the log with only three points from four games they have played so far this season.

Jomo Cosmos boss, Jomo Sono, knows what is at stake coming into this Saturday’s encounter. He will be looking for nothing except a win to improve his position on the log.
