Champions League Table After Real Madrid Won 3-2, Liverpool Lost 3-2 and Arsenal Won 2-1

AEK Athens 2-3 Real Madrid

According to BBC Sport on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, Real Madrid earned a thrilling 3-2 win over AEK Athens after Federico Valverde struck a dramatic stoppage-time goal to complete their comeback.

The home side made a strong start and went ahead in the 12th minute through Aboubakary Koita, who finished Luka Jovic's pass beyond Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. The visitors restored parity in the 32nd minute as Jude Bellingham found the net with a superb back-heel finish following Marc Cucurella's assist.

Bellingham had previously scored, but his goal was disallowed after a VAR check confirmed that he was offside.

After the break, Real Madrid pushed forward in search of another goal but were dealt another setback in the 75th minute when Stavro Pilo finished Koita's pass to put AEK back in front.

The visitors responded almost immediately, with Kylian Mbappe converting Denzel Dumfries' delivery in the 78th minute to bring the score to 2-2.

Real Madrid refused to settle for a draw and continued attacking in pursuit of victory. Their efforts finally paid off in the 92nd minute when Valverde collected Brahim Diaz's pass and unleashed a powerful strike into the bottom-right corner. Following the final whistle, Koita received a red card for unsporting behaviour.

Fenerbahce 3-2 Liverpool

Fenerbahce came from behind to register a remarkable 3-2 victory against Liverpool in their Champions League meeting on Wednesday, scoring twice in the second half to secure the win.

The Reds started brightly and took the lead in the 25th minute through Trey Nyoni, whose first-time low shot from outside the box found the back of the net. Four minutes later, Fenerbahce equalised when Mason Greenwood's free-kick deflected off a Liverpool defender and ended up in the goal.

Irfan Kahveci came close to putting the hosts ahead earlier in the contest, but his effort struck the crossbar. Consequently, the two teams headed into the interval with the score tied at 1-1.

Liverpool moved in front again in the 69th minute after Alexander Isak rose to head in Cody Gakpo's excellent cross.

Fenerbahce refused to give up, and Archie Brown punished a defensive error in the 73rd minute to restore equality.

The Turkish side then completed their comeback in the 79th minute. Substitute Vedat Muriqi met Brown's lofted pass and converted it to give Fenerbahce a 3-2 lead, which they maintained until the final whistle.

Slavia Prague 1-2 Arsenal

Arsenal secured an important 2-1 away win against Slavia Prague in the Champions League, producing an impressive first-half display before having to withstand considerable pressure after the break.

The visitors opened the scoring in the ninth minute when Viktor Gyökeres split the opposition defence with a superb long pass to Noni Madueke. The winger took the opportunity confidently, slotting the ball into the bottom corner to give Arsenal the advantage.

The Gunners continued to control proceedings and extended their lead in the 38th minute. Mikel Merino provided the pass for Gyökeres, who finished clinically from inside the box, sending the ball into the net via the post.

Slavia Prague returned from the break with greater attacking intensity and created several opportunities to get back into the game. Nevertheless, Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya produced a series of important interventions, including a brilliant save that pushed Oskar Kubiak's attempt onto the post.

Arteta made several changes in an effort to protect Arsenal's lead and maintain control of the match. The hosts eventually found a breakthrough in the 90th minute when Wiktor Nowak scored to reduce the deficit.

Despite facing six minutes of added time, Arsenal held firm defensively and secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory.
