BOU 2-0 LEE: Match Review and English Premier League Table

According to a report by BBC SPORT on Saturday October 31, 2026, Bournemouth secured a 2-0 victory over Leeds United in their English Premier League encounter at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

The home side took the lead in the 31st minute through Evanilson, who continued his impressive scoring run with another important goal.

Bournemouth capitalised on a costly mistake by Leeds goalkeeper James Trafford. His misplaced pass allowed Justin Kluivert to intercept the ball before setting up Evanilson, who finished from close range to make it 1-0.

Leeds had initially threatened to take the lead when Dominic Calvert-Lewin found the net in the opening 11 minutes. However, the goal was ruled out following a VAR review because of handball in the build-up.

Daniel Farke's men tried to respond but struggled to create clear scoring opportunities against Bournemouth's organised defence.

Marcus Tavernier came close to extending the home side's advantage in the second half, but Trafford made an important save to keep Leeds in the contest.

Bournemouth eventually secured all three points in stoppage time. Substitute Junior Kroupi provided the assist for Amine Adli, who finished from close range in the 94th minute to make it 2-0.

The victory extended Bournemouth's winning run to six matches in all competitions without conceding a goal.

English Premier League Table

Following the result, Bournemouth moved up to seventh position with 12 points from nine matches, while Leeds United remained around the middle of the table with 11 points.

Manchester City continued to occupy first position with 21 points, level with Arsenal, who had played one fewer match. Brighton were third with 19 points, while Chelsea occupied fourth position with 16 points.

Liverpool were fifth with 15 points from eight matches.

The result gives Bournemouth another important boost as they continue their campaign, while Leeds will need to improve their attacking performance in their next league fixture.
