Gabriel Magalhães was Arsenal’s standout performer as the Gunners defeated Everton 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, securing their fifth Premier League clean sheet of the season.
According to a report by Football London on Saturday, October 24, 2026, Mikel Arteta’s side claimed victory through goals from Ezri Konsa and Gabriel, with both defenders playing crucial roles in the result.
David Raya received a rating of 6/10 despite keeping a clean sheet. The goalkeeper had a nervy moment early in the match when he almost failed to hold a long-range effort before making an uncomfortable attempt to deal with a corner. Gabriel eventually came to his rescue by clearing the ball off the goal line.
Ben White was also awarded 6/10 after finding it difficult to cope with Tyrique George’s pace and direct approach. However, the defender made an important intervention to send a powerful Everton effort wide.
Konsa enjoyed a memorable afternoon, earning 8/10 after scoring his first goal for Arsenal. The defender showed good awareness at the back post to convert a corner and give the hosts an early advantage.
Gabriel received the highest rating of 9/10 following an exceptional all-round performance. The Brazilian helped create Arsenal’s opening goal with a header, produced a vital goal-line clearance to deny Everton and later scored a powerful header to extend the Gunners’ lead.
Myles Lewis-Skelly received 6/10 for his contribution at left-back. He looked comfortable in possession and regularly supported Arsenal’s attacks, although he was booked for a foul on Brennan Johnson and occasionally left space behind him.
Declan Rice earned 7/10 after creating four chances while operating in a deeper midfield role. His defensive work also provided Mikel Merino with greater freedom to move forward and contribute to Arsenal’s attacking play.
Merino was given 6.5/10 after covering plenty of ground and attempting four shots. However, despite his work rate, he struggled to make a significant impact in the final third.
Noni Madueke received 7/10 following a mixed performance. The winger initially frustrated with some misplaced passes but improved as the game progressed, delivering a dangerous cross towards Viktor Gyökeres and creating further problems for Everton’s defence.
Captain Martin Ødegaard was also awarded 7/10. The Norwegian came close to scoring after an impressive individual run and remained heavily involved in Arsenal’s play, recording five shots and 115 touches.
Eberechi Eze completed the attacking ratings with 7/10. He showed confidence when taking on defenders and produced several dangerous passes, although his overall display lacked some of the sharpness he demonstrated against Bayern Munich.
