According to reports by Sky Sport on Sunday November 1, 2026, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are preparing for a demanding run of matches that could have a significant impact on their positions in the English Premier League table.
Arsenal currently have an important opportunity to strengthen their position after securing a 1-0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield. However, Mikel Arteta's side must maintain their momentum as they prepare to face several difficult opponents in their next five league fixtures.
The Gunners will begin their run with a home match against Hull City on November 7 before travelling to St James' Park to face Newcastle United on November 21.
They will then welcome Manchester City to the Emirates Stadium on November 29 in what could be one of their biggest tests. Arsenal will travel to face Brentford on December 2 before ending the five-match run with an away encounter against Tottenham Hotspur on December 6.
The meeting with Manchester City is particularly important because both clubs are expected to compete for the top positions. The North London derby against Tottenham will also provide another major challenge for Arteta's players.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have a different set of opponents awaiting them. Enzo Maresca's side will travel to face Sunderland on November 8 before hosting Leeds United on November 21.
The Blues will then visit Nottingham Forest on November 27 before welcoming Crystal Palace on December 2. Their fifth fixture will be a home meeting with Liverpool on December 5.
Chelsea will be hoping to build on their recent 2-0 victory over Manchester United, but the matches against Nottingham Forest and Liverpool could prove difficult.
Manchester United, on the other hand, will begin their next five league fixtures with a home encounter against Aston Villa on November 8. They will then travel to Anfield to face Liverpool on November 22 before hosting Brentford on November 28.
Michael Carrick's side will travel to Newcastle United on December 2 before welcoming Coventry City to Old Trafford on December 5.
Comparing the three clubs, Arsenal arguably have the most demanding schedule because they must face Newcastle United, Manchester City and Tottenham within their next five matches.
Chelsea also have challenging encounters against Nottingham Forest and Liverpool, while Manchester United face Aston Villa, Liverpool and Newcastle United.
