Turkish Super Lig Table After Galatasaray Won 4-3

According to a report by BBC Sport on Saturday, November 7, 2026, Galatasaray edged Amedspor 4-3 in a thrilling Turkish Super Lig encounter, surviving a determined second-half comeback to claim an important victory.

The home side made an impressive start, taking the lead in the seventh minute through Rafael Leão, who finished Lucas Torreira's precise pass with a well-placed low shot.

Galatasaray maintained their attacking intensity and continued putting pressure on Amedspor's defence. Leão threatened to score again, while Alexey Batrakov also contributed to the hosts' attacking efforts. Amedspor goalkeeper Alban Lafont was forced into several important interventions to keep the scoreline respectable.

Galatasaray eventually extended their lead shortly before halftime when Lafont inadvertently turned a dangerous cross into his own goal. The hosts consequently headed into the dressing room with a deserved 2-0 advantage.

Amedspor made changes during the break and returned with a more aggressive approach, hoping to get back into the contest. However, their task became more difficult in the 59th minute when Batrakov's deflected strike found the net to make it 3-0.

The visitors responded almost immediately, with Dia Saba reducing the deficit in the 62nd minute. His floated free kick went straight into the goal after Ugurcan Cakir and the Galatasaray defenders failed to clear the danger.

Amedspor continued to apply pressure, and their efforts paid off in the 65th minute when Gift Orban headed in Furkan Soyalp's inviting cross to bring the score to 3-2.

Just when the visitors appeared capable of completing an unlikely comeback, Baris Yilmaz restored Galatasaray's two-goal lead in the 80th minute. The forward connected with Gabriel Sara's superb cross and headed the ball into an unguarded net.

Nevertheless, Amedspor refused to accept defeat and found another goal in the 90th minute through Yira Sor, who reacted quickly to convert a rebound and make it 4-3.

The visitors pushed for a late equaliser, but Galatasaray held firm during the closing stages to preserve their advantage and walk away with a hard-fought victory.
