LaLiga Table After Barcelona Won 6-1

According to a report by BBC SPORT on Saturday October 31, 2026, Barcelona produced an outstanding attacking performance to secure a convincing 6-1 victory over Alaves in their La Liga encounter on Saturday night.

Hansi Flick's side dominated proceedings from the opening stages, scoring four goals in the first half before adding two more after the break to complete an emphatic victory at home.

The hosts wasted little time taking control of the contest, with Raphinha opening the scoring in the eighth minute. The Brazilian received a pass from Fermin Lopez before producing a precise finish that went in off the right post. Barcelona continued to create opportunities and doubled their advantage in the 23rd minute through Fermin, who calmly converted after receiving an excellent long pass from Lamine Yamal.

Alaves struggled to contain Barcelona's attacking movements, and Raphinha extended the lead in the 41st minute. The winger found space inside the penalty area after being picked out by Fermin and confidently fired the ball into the net. Yamal then capped an impressive first-half display by making it 4-0 in stoppage time with a powerful long-range effort following a pass from Joao Cancelo.

Barcelona maintained their attacking intensity after the restart, although Alaves attempted to respond. Yamal had several opportunities before finally getting his name on the scoresheet in the 64th minute. His goal initially went under a VAR review but was eventually confirmed, making it 5-0.

The hosts continued to threaten, with Anthony Gordon scoring the sixth goal in the 81st minute. The substitute timed his run perfectly before chipping the goalkeeper after receiving a well-weighted pass from Rodri.

Alaves eventually found a consolation goal three minutes later through Mariano Diaz, who produced a powerful finish from outside the penalty area.

Barcelona also experienced an injury concern when Frenkie de Jong was forced off in the 82nd minute and replaced by Gerard Martin.

The final whistle confirmed a comprehensive 6-1 victory for Barcelona, who delivered an impressive attacking display to collect all three points.
