NNL: Remo Stars Strengthen Squad With Five New Additions Ahead Of 2026/27 Campaign
Remo Stars

Remo Stars mean business ahead of the new campaign, drafting in five fresh faces to bolster their squad for the 2026/27 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

Just one year after making history as the 2024/25 NPFL champions, a turbulent 2025/26 campaign plagued by player departures and a nomadic home schedule saw the club drop to the NNL on goal difference.

However, in a determined bid to secure an immediate return, the Sky Blue Stars have snapped up Godwin Emmanuel, Idowu Nasifu, Shigana Kelvin, Alabi Lasisi, and Temitope Adaralegbe. The club will expect the new arrivals to make an immediate impact as preparations ramp up in Ikenne.

Placed in Southern Conference Group A, the ultimate target for the team is navigating the grueling NNL campaign to reclaim their status among Nigeria’s football elite.

While the broader NNL season gets underway on Sunday, November 1, Remo Stars are gearing up for their opening test against Rovers FC on Sunday, November 8.
