According to a report by BBC Sport on Saturday, October 31, 2026, Barcelona recorded an emphatic 6-1 victory over Alaves in La Liga after producing an impressive attacking performance at home.

Hansi Flick's team controlled the match from the beginning, scoring four goals in the first half before adding two more after the break to complete a convincing win.

Barcelona took the lead in the eighth minute through Raphinha, who received a pass from Fermin Lopez before guiding his finish into the net off the right post.

The hosts continued to put pressure on their opponents and doubled their advantage in the 23rd minute when Fermin calmly finished after receiving an excellent long pass from Lamine Yamal.

Alaves struggled to deal with Barcelona's attacking threat, and Raphinha scored his second goal of the night in the 41st minute. The Brazilian winger found space inside the penalty area after being set up by Fermin and fired confidently into the net.

Yamal then completed Barcelona's first-half scoring in stoppage time, making it 4-0 with a powerful effort from distance following a pass from Joao Cancelo.

Barcelona maintained their attacking approach after the interval, although Alaves attempted to fight back.

Yamal continued to threaten before finding the net in the 64th minute. His effort was initially reviewed by VAR but was eventually allowed, extending Barcelona's lead to five goals.

The hosts added another in the 81st minute through substitute Anthony Gordon, who made a well-timed run before chipping the goalkeeper after receiving a precise pass from Rodri.

Alaves managed to score a consolation goal three minutes later when Mariano Diaz produced a powerful finish from outside the penalty area.

Barcelona also suffered a potential injury setback when Frenkie de Jong was forced off in the 82nd minute and replaced by Gerard Martin.

The final whistle confirmed a dominant 6-1 victory for Flick's side, who delivered an impressive attacking display to secure all three points.
