Luton Town await next, but can Leicester continue their good fortunes?

Leicester City hoping to make it three wins in a row

Kenilworth Road is the destination for Leicester on Saturday 24 October and since they are the early kick-off, they know that a win will put them level on points with fellow promotion hopefuls Sheffield Wednesday, who occupy sixth place.

Consistency has been something the East Midlanders have lacked but, if they come away from Luton with the three points, it would’ve been the first time in 909 days that they have won three on the spin.

You have to go back to April 2024 for when this last happened as Enzo Maresca’s side secured promotion and the title on their way back to the Premier League.

Martin’s Southampton team were one of the three sides beaten in that period, as Leicester hammered them 5-0 at the King Power Stadium.

They’re by no means the finished article and there is still lots for the Foxes to improve this season. Luton also have aspirations of starting a run of results following a much-needed victory against Barnsley in midweek.

Jack Wilshere has been feeling the heat in the Hatters dugout, especially after the 2-1 loss to MK Dons but, as Martin’s side have shown, if they are on form, they can be a problem for anyone.
