SIMO DLADLA INSPIRES YOUNG AFRICANS TO THRASH KAGERA SUGAR AS SIMBA SC FEEL THE PRESSURE
South African coach Simo Dladla is enjoying an impressive run of form with Tanzanian giants Young Africans SC after guiding his team to another emphatic victory, keeping the pressure firmly on league leaders Simba SC.
Young Africans delivered a commanding 4-0 victory over Kagera Sugar in the Tanzanian Premier League, securing back-to-back wins and moving closer to their bitter rivals at the top of the standings.
The result represents another significant step forward for Dladla, whose team appears to be building momentum at a crucial stage of the campaign. With every victory, Yanga are strengthening their position in the title race and increasing the pressure on Simba, coached by fellow South African tactician Steve Barker.
Following the latest triumph, Young Africans have moved to within two points of Simba SC. However, the league leaders still have a game in hand, meaning the title race remains finely balanced.
One of the biggest talking points from the victory was the continued excellent form of Namibian international Peter Shalulile.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns striker found the back of the net once again, taking his impressive contribution to two goals in his last two consecutive matches.
Shalulile, regarded as a legend by Mamelodi Sundowns supporters following his remarkable achievements in South African football, is gradually making his presence felt in Yanga colours.
The experienced forward has now scored six goals for the Tanzanian giants, demonstrating his quality, experience and importance to the team's attacking ambitions.
