After putting up his football boots, former Kaizer Chiefs attacking midfielder Mthokozisi Yende, who was a great fan favourite during his playing days at the club, has largely disappeared.
But this week, in the midst of his quiet life, the guy who was known as "Tembisa Express" when he was a football player posted fresh pictures on his official social media account.
Former Kaizer Chiefs attacking midfielder Mthokozisi Yende, who dated his boss's mistress while playing for the team and abruptly stopped playing football, posted a series of extremely rare recent photos to his Instagram account on Monday. In the midst of his low-key life, he was spotted at a popular hangout.
"Grateful for where I'm at, excited about where I'm going. Love wins" was the caption written by the 42-year-old retired football player from Tembisa who was glued to his phone at one of his most recent public appearances.
What do you think?
What is your favourite memory of Mthokozisi Yende, who played for Kaizer Chiefs and wore the legendary jersey number 10? How would you rank him among the best attacking midfielders to have ever worn the club's renowned gold and black shirt during the PSL era?
