Achraf Hakimi Makes History! PSG Star Scores First Career Hat-Trick And Delivers Two Assists In Stunning Display
Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi produced the performance of his career on Friday night, scoring his first professional hat-trick and providing two assists as Paris Saint-Germain came from behind to defeat Le Havre 5-1 in Ligue 1.
The right-back was simply unstoppable at the Stade Océane, directly contributing to all five of PSG’s goals in a remarkable attacking display that helped the French champions maintain their position at the top of the league table.
What made the performance even more impressive was that Hakimi achieved the milestone from his usual defensive position, demonstrating the attacking quality that has made him one of the most influential full-backs in modern football.
PSG initially faced an unexpected challenge when Le Havre took the lead through Josh Maja in the 18th minute.
However, the visitors responded quickly, with Hakimi providing the assist for Mika Godts, who equalised in the 26th minute.
Just two minutes later, the Moroccan international turned from provider to goalscorer. He found the back of the net in the 28th minute to complete PSG’s turnaround and give his team a 2-1 advantage.
The goal was only the beginning of what would become a historic evening for the defender.
Hakimi continued his outstanding performance after the interval, scoring again in the 55th minute with a superb free-kick to extend PSG’s lead.
His influence did not stop there. In the 62nd minute, he delivered another assist, setting up Senny Mayulu for PSG’s fourth goal of the evening.
The Moroccan then completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute, putting the finishing touch on an extraordinary individual performance.
His match statistics told an incredible story:
26th minute: Assist for Mika Godts.
28th minute: First goal.
55th minute: Second goal from a free-kick.
62nd minute: Assist for Senny Mayulu.
69th minute: Third goal to complete his hat-trick.
Hakimi was substituted in the 71st minute after contributing to every PSG goal.
The 5-1 victory earned PSG three important points and moved them to 20 points from nine Ligue 1 matches, keeping them at the summit of the standings.
The result also extended their winning run in all competitions to nine matches, providing another boost to Luis Enrique’s team.
For Hakimi, however, the night will be remembered for a personal achievement that had previously eluded him throughout his professional career.
Scoring three goals in one match is an impressive accomplishment for any footballer. Doing so while also creating two goals for teammates makes the achievement even more remarkable.
Hakimi has already established himself as one of Morocco’s biggest football stars, but this performance adds another special moment to his career.
