Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro Tonali has ignited the flames ahead of Saturday's crucial London derby, declaring Chelsea as their 'biggest rivals.' The upcoming clash offers Spurs a golden opportunity to reignite their season, build confidence, and give their loyal supporters a much-needed victory.

Following a hard-fought 3-1 win against Coventry City, Tottenham are eager to build momentum. Tonali emphasized the significance of this derby, stating, “Chelsea are one of our biggest rivals, and this game gives us the perfect opportunity to bounce back, build confidence, and get our season back on track.”

Tonali acknowledged the difficult start to their Premier League campaign, with their first win coming only after six matches. He expressed relief and happiness for the club's supporters and staff. Despite earlier setbacks, the midfielder highlighted encouraging performances against Manchester United and Aston Villa, suggesting that results didn't always reflect their efforts.

Recognizing the challenge Chelsea poses, Tonali urged his teammates to play to their strengths and remain true to their identity. He stressed the importance of commitment, adding, “The game against Chelsea will be very tough, but we have to play to our strengths and stay true to our identity. We must give our all if we want to win this game.”

Currently, Tottenham languish at 16th in the Premier League table with just six points from seven matches, while Chelsea sits comfortably in fourth with 13 points. This stark contrast in league positions only intensifies the derby's stakes, as Tonali noted, “Form and league position do not matter much in a game like this. It is about desire, fight, and who wants it more on the day.” He affirmed the team's determination to deliver a celebratory result for their fans.
