Now Mokwana is back home and ready to start a new chapter in Chiefs’ famous gold and black colours.
For Amakhosi supporters, his arrival gives the team another dangerous option in attack.
His pace, direct running and ability to take on defenders could make him a useful weapon out wide.
Mokwana has also earned his place in the Bafana setup, with his performances winning him recognition at international level.
His return to the Betway Premiership gives him a chance to reconnect with local fans and prove himself in one of Mzansi’s biggest football environments.
But joining Chiefs also means stepping into the spotlight.
Amakhosi have a massive following and their supporters demand results.
The pressure will be on Mokwana to make an early impact and help Chiefs push for success.
For him, this move is more than just a return to South Africa.
It’s a chance to make his mark at Naturena and win the hearts of the Chiefs faithful.
The KwaMhlanga-born winger will hope his experience abroad now turns into success on home soil.
