Jude Bellingham produced an impressive display as Real Madrid cruised to a 3-0 win over Racing Santander, with the England midfielder playing a key role in the team’s commanding performance.
According to a report by BBC Sport on Sunday, November 1, 2026, Bellingham was among Madrid’s most influential players, scoring once and repeatedly troubling the opposition with his movement, creativity and attacking threat.
Madrid took control of the contest in the 11th minute after Matteo Prati fouled an opponent inside the penalty area. Referee Jose Munuera pointed to the spot, allowing Kylian Mbappe to step up and convert the resulting penalty.
Bellingham came close to extending the visitors’ lead shortly afterwards, but his header from a well-delivered cross struck the post.
The midfielder eventually got on the scoresheet in the 21st minute. Arda Guler produced a perfectly weighted chipped pass over the Racing Santander defence, allowing Bellingham to make a well-timed run before calmly beating goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala.
He continued to pose a threat after the interval and nearly completed his brace in the 63rd minute. Reacting quickly to a cross inside the box, Bellingham directed a low effort towards goal, but Agirrezabala made an important save.
Madrid added a third goal through Yan Diomande in the 36th minute, with the youngster producing a superb long-range finish after collecting a rebound outside the penalty area.
Bellingham thought he had scored again during stoppage time, but the effort was disallowed for offside, denying him the opportunity to finish the match with two goals.
Nevertheless, his influence remained evident throughout the encounter. His intelligent positioning and combination play with Guler and Mbappe helped Madrid maintain their attacking momentum and control proceedings.
With a goal, dangerous movement and several threatening contributions, Bellingham delivered a performance that puts him firmly in contention for the Man of the Match recognition.
