The Portuguese has been pleased with the quality of his squad at his disposal. The Real Madrid squad have been in better spirits after their comeback win over Roma and 2-1 victory over Barcelona in El Clasico in recent weeks.

Much of the credit has gone to Mourinho for improving the team’s form, as he has made tactical changes to allow them to find a balance between strength and quality in midfield.

Whilst having an extra midfielder would give the manager more options, he does not feel there is a big hole in his squad.

He is also pleased with the attitude of his players. They are willing to listen to his instructions and adapt to his ideas.

Mourinho has also put his trust in the club’s administration and is satisfied with how the squad has been put together. His methods are working well and the players are becoming much more committed to playing as a unit.
