According to a report by Barca Universal on Saturday October 24, 2026, Barcelona are targeting a new merchandise sales record when they host Real Madrid at Spotify Camp Nou on Sunday, with Lamine Yamal's shirts leading demand among supporters.
The club expects revenue from its official store to surpass the €750,000 record established during last season's El Clasico. Strong team performances and an exclusive matchday collection have increased optimism.
According to Ferran Correas of SPORT, Barcelona are preparing for a potentially historic day of commercial activity. The Catalan club already anticipates record ticket revenue, which could exceed the €16.4 million generated during last season's corresponding fixture.
Barcelona's current merchandise sales record was set during that encounter, when their shirt featured singer Olivia Rodrigo through a special Spotify collaboration. The team also celebrated a 2-0 victory, with Marcus Rashford and Ferran Torres scoring the goals.
Recent performances have further strengthened expectations for Sunday's sales. Barcelona generated more than €600,000 in merchandise revenue during their league meeting with Getafe, making it one of the three most successful days in the store's history. The club believes El Clasico could produce even greater figures.
Another attraction is the special collection featuring the GOLF branding associated with American rapper and designer Tyler, The Creator. The collaboration, arranged through Spotify, includes a limited-edition shirt and additional merchandise that have attracted considerable interest.
Meanwhile, Yamal remains Barcelona's leading player in shirt sales, comfortably ahead of his teammates. Pedri occupies second place, while captain Raphinha is also competing strongly for supporters' attention.
Pau Cubarsi follows the pair, while Rodri leads sales among Barcelona's new signings, according to the report. Fermin Lopez has also experienced growing demand, with his shirt now competing with Gavi's for popularity.
Robert Lewandowski continues to attract interest despite leaving Barcelona for Chicago Fire during the summer. The club still receives requests for shirts bearing the Polish striker's name, particularly from supporters in Poland.
With the rivalry, exclusive merchandise and growing interest in its players, Barcelona are hopeful of achieving another commercial milestone on Sunday.
