According to a report by FootballTransfers, on Saturday October 24, 2026, Club Brugge left-back Joaquin Seys says his attention is firmly on his current club, despite reported interest from Manchester United.
The 21-year-old was linked with a move to Old Trafford during the summer, but Club Brugge were unwilling to sell after losing Christos Tzolis to Arsenal.
According to Seys, United did not make a concrete approach. Seys has continued to impress in Belgium. Last season, he scored five goals and provided eight assists in more than 4,200 minutes. He is already building on that form this campaign, having registered several assists and scored against Lens in the Champions League.
Speaking to VTM, Seys played down speculation about a possible move in 2027.
“I’m not really thinking about that yet. This is the club I love, and it’s wonderful to have played so many matches here. Club Brugge is close to my heart, and I’ll give everything for the team. For now, my focus is entirely here. We’ll see what happens later.”
United are reportedly looking to strengthen at left-back, but a January move for Seys appears unlikely. If his strong form continues, he could attract renewed interest next summer. His current Estimated Transfer Value is €23.8 million.
