WSL Table After Chelsea Won 6-0

According to a report by BBC Sport on Sunday, November 1, 2026, Chelsea Women delivered an outstanding display to claim a comprehensive 6-0 win over Charlton Athletic Women in the Women's Super League. Nathalie Björn, Ellie Carpenter, Melvine Malard, Aggie Beever-Jones and Giulia Dragoni were among the players who contributed to the impressive victory.

Chelsea started the game with great determination and quickly established their superiority over their opponents. Their attacking pressure made it difficult for Charlton to settle into the contest, with the Blues creating several scoring opportunities.

The visitors opened the scoring just three minutes into the match when Björn rose highest to connect with Katie McCabe's corner delivery and direct a header into the net. Chelsea increased their advantage in the 10th minute as Malard reacted quickly inside the penalty area to score their second goal.

Carpenter made it 3-0 in the 13th minute after completing a well-worked attacking move with a finish from inside the box. Chelsea continued to put Charlton under pressure, and Malard struck again in the 19th minute to register her second goal of the afternoon and give the visitors a commanding four-goal advantage.

Charlton found it difficult to deal with Chelsea's movement and attacking quality. However, goalkeeper Anna Koivunen prevented further damage on several occasions with important saves. Chelsea also experienced an injury setback in the 35th minute when Lauren James was unable to continue, prompting Erin Cuthbert to come on.

Following the restart, Chelsea maintained their dominance and continued searching for more goals. Manaka Matsukubo came close to extending the lead before the Blues eventually found their fifth goal in the 57th minute. Beever-Jones finished confidently from inside the penalty area after receiving a well-timed pass from Keira Walsh.

Chelsea made additional changes during the second half, introducing Maika Hamano, Giulia Dragoni and Alyssa Thompson to maintain their attacking threat. The substitutions proved effective as Dragoni added another goal in the 66th minute, calmly placing the ball into the bottom corner following an assist from Thompson.

The Blues were not finished creating chances, as Hamano struck the crossbar while Baltimore also came close after hitting the post. Despite Chelsea's continued pressure, Charlton managed to avoid conceding further goals.

The home side attempted to respond but could not find a way past Chelsea's defence before the final whistle. The result handed Chelsea an impressive 6-0 victory and provided a significant boost to their Women's Super League campaign.

Following this result, attention will turn to the updated Women's Super League standings, with Chelsea strengthening their position in the competition.
