Premier League Table After Man City Lost 2-1, Arsenal Won 2-0 and Chelsea Lost 2-0

ASTON VILLA VS MANCHESTER CITY

According to a report by BBC SPORT on Saturday October 24, 2026, Aston Villa secured a 2-1 victory over Manchester City in their Premier League encounter on Saturday, thanks to Nicolas Jackson’s brace at Villa Park.

Jackson opened the scoring in the sixth minute after receiving a precise pass from John McGinn before firing into the top-left corner. Manchester City created several opportunities to equalise, but goalkeeper Zion Suzuki produced important saves to deny Rayan Cherki, Iliman Ndiaye and Abdukodir Khusanov.

City eventually drew level seven minutes into the second half when Erling Haaland headed home Iliman Ndiaye’s lofted delivery in the 52nd minute.

However, Aston Villa quickly regained the lead through Jackson, who finished a well-worked team move in the 60th minute with a low shot into the bottom-right corner.

Manchester City pushed for another equaliser, but Aston Villa maintained their advantage until the final whistle.

ARSENAL VS EVERTON

Arsenal secured a 2-0 victory over Everton in their Premier League encounter on Saturday, October 24, with Ezri Konsa and Gabriel finding the net.

Konsa opened the scoring in the seventh minute after capitalising on a corner-kick opportunity to put Arsenal ahead. The Gunners continued to create chances but were unable to extend their lead before half-time.

Everton attempted to fight back after the break, but Arsenal maintained control of the contest. Gabriel doubled the hosts’ advantage in the 68th minute, heading home from Ben White’s excellent delivery.

Everton struggled to find a response despite creating a few late opportunities, while David Raya produced important saves to preserve Arsenal’s clean sheet.

The victory secured three valuable points for Arsenal as they continued their Premier League campaign.

CHELSEA VS TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

Tottenham secured a 2-0 victory over Chelsea on Saturday after Mike Penders' own goal and Mathys Tel's stunning strike proved decisive in the London derby.

The breakthrough arrived in the 77th minute when Penders inadvertently headed Mateus Fernandes' corner into his own net. Chelsea's hopes of recovering suffered another setback when Cole Palmer was sent off in the 80th minute after receiving his second yellow card.

Tottenham capitalised on their numerical advantage, with Tel doubling their lead in the 87th minute. The forward dribbled past Chelsea's defenders before firing a powerful long-range effort into the bottom-left corner.

Chelsea had several opportunities to score, but Tottenham goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky produced important saves to deny Palmer, Jordan Henderson and Pedro Neto. Conor Gallagher also tested Penders late on, while Sandro Tonali fired the rebound over the crossbar.

Tottenham maintained control during stoppage time to complete an impressive derby victory.
