According to a report by Barca Universal on Thursday October 22, 2026, Barcelona legend Gerard Pique has predicted a convincing victory for his former club ahead of Sunday's El Clasico against Real Madrid at the Camp Nou.
Pique expects Barcelona to beat Jose Mourinho's side 4-1, recalling the humiliating 5-0 defeat the Portuguese manager suffered during his first visit to the Camp Nou as Real Madrid boss in November 2010.
Speaking in a video shared on TikTok, the former Spain international referenced the famous encounter before revealing his prediction for this weekend's clash.
“The first time Mourinho went to the Camp Nou, he lost 5-0. I predict 4-1,” Pique said.
Barcelona's memorable victory in 2010 became known as Una Manita, meaning a hand, after Pique celebrated by holding up five fingers to the home supporters.
The former defender will be hoping his prediction proves accurate as Barcelona prepare to welcome their fierce rivals in another highly anticipated El Clasico.
Meanwhile, former Barcelona left-back Sergi Barjuan believes Hansi Flick's team have the advantage heading into the encounter, pointing to their structure, fitness and results.
“Real Madrid are coming off the back of a good win in the Champions League and have been strengthened, but in terms of structure, fitness and results, I see Barça as the better side,” Barjuan said.
However, with both teams determined to claim victory, Sunday's meeting promises to be a major test for Mourinho's Real Madrid, who will be eager to avoid another painful afternoon at the Camp Nou.
