Forest 3-1 Man City: Comparing Arsenal’s Next Five EPL Matches to Man City’s After Today’s Results

According to a report by Sky Sports on November 7, 2026, Arsenal moved further ahead at the top of the Premier League table after securing a 1-0 win over Hull City, while Manchester City suffered a disappointing 3-1 loss to Nottingham Forest. Following these results, attention has shifted to the next five league matches for both clubs as they continue their battle for the Premier League title.

Mikel Arteta's Arsenal currently lead the standings with 27 points from 10 matches, giving them a six-point advantage over Manchester City, who have 21 points after losing three consecutive league games.

Arsenal face a difficult run of fixtures, starting with an away match against Newcastle United on November 21. The Gunners will then host Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium on November 29 in a match that could have a major impact on the title race.

After facing Guardiola's team, Arsenal will travel to take on Brentford on December 2 before making another away trip to face Tottenham Hotspur on December 6. Their fifth match in this run will be against Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium on December 13.

Manchester City also have several important matches coming up as Pep Guardiola looks to guide his players back to winning ways after their defeat to Nottingham Forest.

City will begin their next five league fixtures by hosting Fulham on November 21. They will then travel to London to face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on November 29.

Guardiola's men will return home to welcome Leeds United on December 2 before travelling to face Brentford on December 5. Their fifth match will be against Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium on December 12.

The upcoming meeting between Arsenal and Manchester City is expected to be the biggest game in both teams' schedules. Arsenal currently have a six-point lead, meaning another defeat for City could make it much harder for them to catch the league leaders.

However, Manchester City have a chance to reduce the gap if they can defeat Arsenal away from home. A victory in north London would give Guardiola's side a major boost in their attempt to return to the title race.

Both clubs also have difficult away matches to deal with. Arsenal must travel to Newcastle, Brentford and Tottenham, while Manchester City face away trips to Arsenal and Brentford.
