According to a report by BBC SPORT on Sunday November 1, 2026, Chelsea Women produced a dominant performance to secure a convincing 6-0 victory over Charlton Athletic Women, with Nathalie Björn, Ellie Carpenter, Melvine Malard, Aggie Beever-Jones and Giulia Dragoni all getting on the scoresheet.
The Blues took control of the encounter from the opening minutes and maintained their attacking intensity throughout the match.
Chelsea needed just three minutes to break the deadlock through Björn, who headed home from close range following Katie McCabe's delivery from a corner. The visitors doubled their advantage in the 10th minute when Malard found the back of the net from close range.
Carpenter extended Chelsea's lead three minutes later, finishing from inside the penalty area after another promising attacking move. The visitors continued to dominate proceedings and added a fourth goal in the 19th minute through Malard, who completed her brace with a close-range finish.
Charlton struggled to contain Chelsea's attacking threats, although goalkeeper Anna Koivunen made several important saves to prevent the scoreline from increasing further. Chelsea also suffered an injury concern when Lauren James was forced off in the 35th minute, with Erin Cuthbert introduced as her replacement.
The Blues resumed the second half with the same attacking approach and nearly added another through Manaka Matsukubo. However, their fifth goal eventually arrived in the 57th minute when Beever-Jones finished from inside the box after receiving a pass from Keira Walsh.
Chelsea made further substitutions as they looked to maintain their control of the contest. Maika Hamano, Giulia Dragoni and Alyssa Thompson were introduced, with the changes providing additional attacking energy.
Dragoni added the sixth goal in the 66th minute, calmly finding the bottom corner after being set up by Thompson. Chelsea continued creating opportunities, with Hamano hitting the crossbar and Baltimore striking the post.
Charlton attempted to find a consolation goal but failed to trouble Chelsea significantly. The visitors remained comfortable until the final whistle, completing an emphatic 6-0 victory.
