Chelsea forward Morgan Rogers continued to deliver big returns early on the club’s massive 117 million pound investment to get from Aston Villa after the Englishman scored his latest goal.

Rogers scored in Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Manchester United in the English Premier League at Stamford Bridge.

The former Villa player has six goals and four assists in 12 games in all competitions for Chelsea and the win gave the Blues a bounce back win after getting kicked out of the Carabao Cup earlier in the week.

Speaking to TNT Sports after the win, Rogers shared how important the win over Man United was for his team.

“Massive. A difficult week with a poor result last weekend. We knew we had to come out here strong. In the second half, we stamped our authority and that was really good. We deserved the win. Loving it-my life at Chelsea.”

“A new challenge and looking forward to playing with these wonderful quality players. It is about the team coming together as a whole. Try to be a leader and stick to what I know best. A good start, but I need to keep going.”
