Bradford 0-3 Huddersfield

League One leaders Huddersfield seized the bragging rights in the West Yorkshire derby with an emphatic 3-0 win at Bradford, who had captain Antoni Sarcevic sent off.

A tremendous overhead kick from Joe Low gave the visitors an early lead before two goals in six minutes at the start of the second half from Derensili Sanches Fernandes and Joe Taylor made sure of the win.

The visitors went in front after four minutes. Bradford could not clear their lines from Ilias Bronkhorst's looping throw-in and Low superbly hooked the ball into the top corner.

Bradford went close through Will Swan from Kayden Jackson's cross but Huddersfield put the game beyond the home side with two more soon after the restart.

The first came on the counter-attack from a Bradford corner as Sanches Fernandes seized on a slip by Corey O'Keeffe to shoot past Jon McCracken in the 48th minute.

Huddersfield struck again three minutes later when Joe Taylor nodded home from Sean Roughan's cross.

Bradford went down to 10 men when Sarcevic was given a second booking for pulling back Bronkhorst.
