AFC Leopards strengthened their position in the FKF Premier League standings after securing a 2-0 victory over Kakamega Homeboyz, while Migori Youth also collected maximum points following a similar 2-0 win against Mombasa United.

The two results have brought significant changes to the league table, with AFC Leopards moving closer to leaders Gor Mahia as the competition for the top positions intensifies.

Gor Mahia remain at the summit with 12 points from four matches, having maintained a perfect record of four victories. AFC Leopards have moved into second place with 12 points from six matches following their latest victory. The unbeaten side now has three wins and three draws, with six goals scored and only one conceded.

Migori Youth have also enjoyed a major boost, climbing to third position with nine points from five matches. Their victory over Mombasa United took their tally to two wins and three draws, keeping them unbeaten in the competition.

KCB occupy fourth position with seven points from four matches, while Murang'a FC sit fifth with six points. Mara Sugar, Shabana and other teams follow closely as the battle for the top positions continues.

Kakamega Homeboyz have dropped further down the standings following their defeat to AFC Leopards. They remain on four points from five matches, while Posta Rangers also have four points but have played the same number of matches.

At the bottom, Mombasa United continue to struggle after suffering another defeat. They remain 18th with just one point from six matches, having managed one draw and five defeats.

The latest results underline the growing competition in the Kenyan Premier League, with Gor Mahia enjoying an early advantage while AFC Leopards and Migori Youth emerge as serious challengers.
