Chelsea 4th, Man United 13th: How EPL Table Looks After All Weekend Results

The 2026/27 Premier League season completed Matchweek 7 with drama across England. From Manchester City’s relentless winning streak to Brighton’s derby demolition and Tottenham’s continued struggles, the table now reflects the early battles for the title, Europe, and survival.

Manchester City remain flawless at the top with 21 points from seven matches, after edging Ipswich Town 3–2 on Saturday. Erling Haaland’s brace kept Pep Guardiola’s side three points clear.

Arsenal stayed second on 18 points following a narrow 1–0 win at Nottingham Forest, courtesy of Noni Madueke’s strike.

Brighton & Hove Albion climbed to third with 16 points and a remarkable +18 goal difference after thrashing Crystal Palace 5–0 in the South Coast derby.

Chelsea moved into the top six with 13 points after a 2–0 win at Everton. Liverpool are just behind on 12 points, having beaten Brentford 2–1 away.

Brentford and Hull City sit mid‑table with 10–11 points, while Leeds United and Everton remain level on 10 points each after mixed results.

Newcastle United slipped after a 1–0 home defeat to Aston Villa, leaving them on 8 points. Villa’s win lifted them to 8 points as well, easing relegation pressure.

EPL Standings

Manchester United remain stuck in mid‑table with 7 points after a 1–1 draw at Leeds, still searching for consistency.

Bournemouth finally earned their first win of the season, beating Sunderland 2–0 to climb to 6 points.

Coventry City held Tottenham to a 0–0 draw on Monday, moving to 7 points, while Spurs remain winless with just 4 points.

Fulham picked up their first victory against Hull but still sit in the bottom three with 5 points. Sunderland (4 points) and Tottenham (4 points) join them in the relegation zone.

After Matchweek 7, the Premier League table shows Manchester City as the team to beat, with Arsenal and Brighton keeping the chase alive. Chelsea and Liverpool are climbing into contention, while Tottenham’s crisis deepens. At the bottom, Bournemouth and Fulham finally found relief, but the relegation battle remains fierce.
