Premier League Matchday 8: Big Tests for City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man United.

Another exciting Premier League weekend is here, and several heavyweight clashes could shape the early-season race.

The headline fixture is Aston Villa vs Manchester City, with City arriving in outstanding form after winning all seven league matches. Villa, however, have won five of their last six and should make life difficult at Villa Park. City’s attacking quality, with Erling Haaland available, gives them the edge in my prediction.

At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea vs Tottenham promises another fascinating London battle. Chelsea have recovered strongly, winning their last two league games, while Spurs will be determined to respond after a difficult run. I expect Chelsea to have chances, but Tottenham could exploit spaces on the counter.

Arsenal vs Everton looks like another test of the Gunners’ consistency. Arsenal sit second and have conceded only five league goals so far, making a home victory and clean sheet a tempting prediction.

Meanwhile, Manchester United vs Bournemouth could be one of the weekend’s most intriguing encounters. United desperately need a response after recent struggles, while Bournemouth have shown they can cause problems. United’s home advantage gives them the narrowest of edges.
