According to a report by Football London on Sunday, November 1, 2026, Morgan Rogers has matched Mason Mount’s goal contributions at Manchester United after making just 12 appearances for Chelsea following his impressive start at Stamford Bridge.
Rogers has registered six goals and four assists in 12 matches since completing his £117 million move from Aston Villa.
The England international continued his impressive run against Manchester United on Saturday, scoring the opening goal as Chelsea secured a 2-0 Premier League victory at Stamford Bridge.
Rogers produced a fine finish to put Xabi Alonso's side ahead before Cole Palmer doubled their advantage from the penalty spot. Manchester United also had defender Lisandro Martinez sent off during the match.
The result provided another opportunity to compare Rogers' early impact at Chelsea with Mount's time at Old Trafford.
Mount joined Manchester United from Chelsea in a £40 million transfer after making 195 appearances for the Blues and recording 70 goal contributions. However, his career at Old Trafford has been disrupted by a series of injuries.
The midfielder made his 80th appearance for United against his former club but failed to make much of an impact after coming on for the final 24 minutes.
Rogers has already matched Mount's Manchester United record of eight goals and two assists, despite making 68 fewer appearances.
The Chelsea attacker has also become part of an exclusive group of players to record 10 goal contributions within their first 12 appearances for the club.
Diego Costa reached the milestone in nine matches, while Cesc Fabregas needed 10 games and Eden Hazard achieved it in 11 appearances.
Rogers reached the same figure in 12 matches, further underlining the impact he has made since arriving at Stamford Bridge.
His performances are increasingly justifying Chelsea's significant investment, with Alonso benefiting from an attacker who has quickly established himself as an important part of the team's forward line.
