Heart of Lions ended a run of three defeats with a 2-1 victory against Bechem United at the Kpando Sports Stadium, thanks to a William Oduro late goal.
The home-side, who are without a substantive coach following the departure of Kasim Gokyldez last week, put their troubled past few days behind them after Stephen Afoakwa opened the scoring halfway through the first half.
However, the visitors responded before half time through veteran forward Augustine Okrah.
Having lost their last two home games, Lions looked jittery at the start of the match with defender Abdul Jalilu coming to their rescue early in the match with a timely clearance.
Moments later, the game will turn around as the hosts took the lead following a fine strike from Afoakwa, making it his second goal in back-to-back games.
Although, Lions had taken the lead, they were a side lacking confidence and struggled to control the game with the Hunters smelling blood. Just before half time, Okrah struck home the leveler.
After the break, Heart of Lions threatened first with Oduro hitting the woodwork from a powerful strike.
Both sides rang in some changes, with the Kpando-based outfit bringing in more attacking players in search of a winner.
With four minutes left, Oduro scored the winner as Lions return to winning ways in the Ghana Premier League.
