Asante Kotoko interim head coach Hamza Obeng says his side are working to improve their consistency as they prepare to face defending Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC.
The Porcupine Warriors will host the Tarkwa-based side at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday in a Matchday Nine fixture, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00 GMT.
Kotoko, who are eighth on the league table with 12 points, have struggled to put together a consistent run of results in their last three matches.
They recorded a 1-1 draw against Ashantigold 04, suffered a 1-0 defeat to Swedru All Blacks before bouncing back with a 2-1 victory over Young Apostles.
Obeng admits his team have yet to find consistency in their performances but insists they have a clear game plan as they target all three points against Medeama.
“It’s very true we don’t have consistency in our play, and it’s something that we are working on. Looking at our game plan, that is what we are sticking to inside this game, and we have a plan we are using to take the three points,” he told the club’s media.
Kotoko will be hoping to build on their victory over Young Apostles and secure another positive result against the defending champions as they seek to improve their position on the league table.
