The owner of Ghana Premier League side Bechem United FC,Kingsley Osei Bonsu, has made a candid admission that  he would rather watch El Clásico than a local league match if both were broadcast at the same time.

Speaking in an interview with Accra-based Hot 93.9FM, the veteran club proprietor pull no punches regarding the quality and appeal of the domestic game by describing the Ghanaian league as unattractive.

“The local league is not attractive..I would rather watch El Clásico than watch any local match when both are playing.”Osei Bonsu said

Addressing the broader decline of the sport in the country, the Bechem United chief stressed that the domestic game requires urgent structural improvement.
