Manchester United produced a vintage comeback to stun Roma 3-2 in the Champions League and ease pressure on under-fire manager Michael Carrick.
The Red Devils had been on the end of a nine-game winless run dating back to late August, as he teetered on the brink of the sack.
He saw his side fall 2-0 down inside 18 minutes after Matias Soule and Donyell Malen struck, and boos met the home side as the half-time whistle peeped.
Bruno Fernandes lashed home a penalty at the second time of asking after his first was saved, before Matheus Cunha rattled home a delightful double late on to turn the game on its head and secure a massive three points for his boss and the club.
The Brazilian was sent off for a silly challenge in stoppage time having already been booked for taking his shirt off and celebrating in the Old Trafford crowd, but United were able to cling on to a hugely important victory that could save Carrick his job.
