Llandysul had won the last two meetings between the sides, and it looked as if they would make it three when they took the lead early into Saturday’s game.
The home side were awarded a penalty in the fifth minute, and James Brown made no mistake from the spot to put Llandysul ahead.
Their lead did not last long, as Ross McDonald set up Sam Phillips, who scored to level the game.
Two minutes later, Will Thomas scored to put Crymych into the lead.
Captain Rhodri George then provided another assist for Sion Vaughan to score to make it 3-1 to the visitors with five minutes to go until half time.
Llandysul looked to get back into the game in the second half, but their cause was not helped when Ethan Summerfield was sent off in the 65th minute.
With nine minutes left to play, George set up sub Elliot Bailey-Williams, who scored their fourth goal of the game.
The same pair then combined in the final minute of the 90 as Bailey-Williams scored his second goal to make it 5-1.
The win for Crymych keeps them three points behind leaders Newcastle Emlyn with a game in hand.
The result for Llandysul sees them stay in fourth place in the Premier Division table.
On Saturday, November 7, the two sides will do battle again as they meet in Crymych for the reverse fixture.
