HARRY KANE has become the HIGHEST-PAID player in Europe – just over a week after winning the Ballon d’Or.
The 33-year-old pipped Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal to the most prestigious individual award in football last week.
He bagged the gong after an incredible season for club and country, in which he scored a whopping 73 GOALS.
And his 61-goal haul for Bayern Munich, which helped fire them to a domestic treble, has resulted in the Bundesliga big boys giving him a new bumper contract.
Kane has signed a new three-year deal with the German side, which will keep him at the Allianz Arena until June 2029.
And the England captain is delighted to have committed what could be the final years of his career to the Bundesliga big boys.
He said: “I feel right at home at FC Bayern. I love the club, the fans and the city of Munich.
“We have a fantastic team and, in Vincent Kompany, a fantastic manager.
“It makes me very proud to be part of this club.
“My whole family is very happy here. I was keen to stay.
“I’m now looking forward to the future and I want to win many more titles with this great club.”
Kane’s new deal is said to be worth a staggering £20,858,000 per year, which works out to be a weekly salary of £401,115
His take-home pay, without bonuses, eclipses that received by Manchester City ace Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian is paid a whopping £525,000 a week, with bonuses, for his services.
Mbappe is not far off that figure, with Real Madrid paying him £518,000 a week, with bonuses.
Kane’s first game of his new contract will be a Saturday trip to the Rhine to take on Mainz.
