Former England and Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has revealed he used to buy fhe famous 1990s Newcastle United goalkeeper kits made famous by the likes of Shaka Hislop and Pavel Srnicek.
The ex-shot-stopper twice won the Premier League with Man City as well as the FA Cup and the League Cup, while collecting 75 caps for his country, playing in two World Cups.
However, the Shrewsbury-born star has admitted he loved the iconic Newcastle keeper tops of the famous Entertainers era, and would proudly wear those shirts as a youngster . . . even if he did wait until they were on sale.
Newcastle's partnership with adidas in the mid-1990s produced a series of memorable shirts, with the eye-catching keeper tops featuing the Tyne Bridge one that sticks in the memory.

For Hart, they were a must-have, especially when worn by one of his goalkeeping heroes Shaka Hislop.
"Ah, come on," Hart told Overlap Daily, brought to you by Sky Bet. "Anything Shaka rocked, with the bridge and the sunset. I used to rock these shirts.
"Don’t get me wrong, I got it three or four seasons later when it was a tenner, because they were too expensive, but I rocked a few of these adidas Newcastle kits, and because of Shaka as well.
"He had a lot of flair, and he made some massive saves”.
Newcastle signed Hislop from Reading in 1995, with the Trinidad and Tobago keeper battling with Srnicek for the No 1 shirt.
He played 71 times in three years on Tyneside before leaving for West Ham in 1998. He would go on to play for Portsmouth, before ending his career in the MLS with FC Dallas.
