Krist Montgomery has trained this week and is primed to replace Morsy and play alongside Moussa Baradji. Should he be deemed unfit to start, Jake Garrett could make his first Championship start since March 2024.

The rest of the team is likely to be unchanged after an impressive 2-0 win over Wrexham. A free week has also given the players plenty of time to rest and recover.

Balazs Toth will keep the gloves with Hayden Carter and Sean McLoughlin poised to continue at centre-back. It would be the first mid-September that Rovers have started successive games with the same centre-back set-up.

Up front, Jayden Fevrier did enough to keep Ryoya Morishita's berth. The form of Todd Cantwell, Dapo Afolayan and Andri Gudjohnsen means they almost pick themselves.
