Last week, it was reported that next week’s episode of WWE NXT, which will serve as the post-NXT Halloween Havoc show, is scheduled to air on Wednesday, November 4th, instead of the usual Tuesday night slot. This change is due to the midterm elections taking place in the United States on Tuesday, which will result in the show facing off against the Blood & Guts episode of AEW Dynamite.
WWE confirmed this scheduling change during last night’s NXT Halloween Havoc go-home episode, with Vic Joseph announcing it on commentary. He explained that the shift is necessary because of the election coverage.
Additionally, it was confirmed that "The American Nightmare," Cody Rhodes, will appear to present the trophy to the winners of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. The finals will take place on next week’s episode, following the conclusion of the semifinals last night. There was also an announcement that 17-time World Champion John Cena will be making an appearance, presumably to discuss the upcoming John Cena Classic.
WWE NXT will be held at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, and it will air on The CW and ESPN Unlimited in the U.S., as well as on Netflix internationally.
