Walsall goalkeeper Jed Ward has had quite an impact since joining from Bristol Rovers in the summer, with the Saddlers conceding only seven league goals all season and only two at home.
The 23-year-old has kept eight clean sheets in 13 games in all competitions and even came up with an assist in last Tuesday's 3-0 win over Oldham Athletic.
"In terms of what he's bringing at the moment, [Jed] is very, very high level," Saddlers' boss Lee Grant told BBC Radio WM.
Ward leads League Two in percentage of shots saved at 86% with 43 stops from 50 efforts on target faced, which is almost four saves per game on average.
He has spent much of the past two seasons on loan at National League clubs Yeovil Town and Forest Green Rovers, but did make 18 League One appearances for Bristol Rovers in the 2024-25 season.
Bristol Rovers' loss has certainly been Walsall's gain so far.
