Jordan Pickford is one of the finest goalkeepers in the Premier League but specifically Joe Hart believes that he is better than anyone else at doing one thing in particular.

For a long time, Jordan Pickford has been superb for Everton, with a really high save percentage, distribution and all around just being a top tier goalkeeper, even when Everton were at their worst.

Joe Hart picks Jordan Pickford as best in league for one quality

Hart has been asked by The Athletic on TikTok to build the ‘perfect’ goalkeeper from those across the Premier League right now. Zion Suzuki and David Raya took the bulk, but when it came to the question of reflexes, Hart went straight for Pickford.

Pickford has fantastic reflexes and instincts, often allowing him to make point blank saves based purely on his reflexes with no time to think about it.

Hart responds to how Pickford would have fared at a top club

Hart has also been talking about Pickford when he appeared on The Overlap Daily, explaining why he would have been a massive success if he’d gotten a move to a top six side.

“Jordan’s just been a absolute servant to the Premier League, servant to Everton. Of course he’s always going to have that ‘could he have gone to a higher level?’

“I don’t know. Well, I do know. If he’d gone, he would have been absolutely brilliant because on the biggest stage playing for England playing in front, you know, not just the qualifiers, playing on the biggest stage in the in the European tournaments, in the world tournaments.

“He’s shown and he’s stood up against the best in the world. But, it’s just it’s such a niche position. It’s so difficult to get that number one spot.”

Pickford has a 75% save percentage for Everton this season, which is stellar and a big part of the Toffees being positioned so highly up the table at this moment in time.
