Arsenal sold six members of their squad permanently in the summer and we’ve tracked down what they have been up to.
After winning the title, the Gunners had a small squad rejuvenation but it was more out than in as Mikel Arteta showed his ruthless streak.
Here are those six players and how they have got on at their new clubs so far.
Before Martinelli, Arsenal were incredibly low in terms of their record sale but his big-money move to Saudi netted them £55.7m.
The Brazilian went off to Al-Hilal to join the likes of Ruben Neves, Kalidou Koulibaly, Theo Hernandez and latterly Ollie Watkins and the former Arsenal winger has hit the ground running for his new club.
Martinelli has got six in six so far for his new side and has scored in the last four matches he has played in, one of which was a 54-minute hat-trick.
Al-Hilal are currently top and Martinelli is only 25, so we could see him back in Europe at some point.
Before they sold Martinelli, Arsenal got rid of more of their left-wing depth by allowing Trossard to go.
No one would really begrudge them that decision. He was 31 and had already proven his worth for the £27m they paid for him back in 2023.
Arsenal made a good chunk of that back when he joined Besiktas for an initial £15.4m.
Since moving to Turkey, the Belgian has made a good start, although he has had a few injuries to deal with.
It took him four games to register his first Super Lig goal, but he followed up that assist with a goal in a 3-0 win over Erzurumspor.
A heel injury disrupted his rhythm, but he was back amongst the goals last time out when he scored in a 2-2 draw away at Kasimpasa.
Besiktas are fourth in the Super Lig, which is quickly becoming the Premier League’s retirement home.
After failing to break into Arsenal’s back line, Kiwior moved to Porto for the low price of £14.7 million.
That is already looking a bit of a bargain for the Portuguese club as he has played every minute of their Liga Portugal campaign so far.
Francesco Farioli’s Porto have won all 10 league games they had faced and Kiwior has been part of a defence that has conceded just four goals, easily the best of any team in the division.
Unsurprisingly, they lead the Liga Portugal and already have a five-point gap over second-place Benfica.
In one of the best examples of falling upwards of all time, Jesus went from the bench at Arsenal to Barcelona.
He is playing a similar role in Catalonia with just two of his seven La Liga games having been starts but when he has played, he’s done well.
He’s got three goals and one assist in the league and has been an able deputy for the free-scoring Raphinha.
It had been over two years since Vieira actually played for Arsenal, but his association with the club is finally over.
The two parted ways permanently in the summer following two loan spells to Porto and Hamburg.
He joined the latter permanently in the summer, but they are struggling so far this season and sit 15th of the 18-team Bundesliga.
Vieira has not helped with those struggles. In 333 minutes of action, he has yet to score or assist and has not lived up to the £8.6m the German club paid for him.
One of the stranger Arsenal signings in recent years was Brentford captain Norgaard, who was brought in for depth and then never played.
He played 20 games across the entire season and a year later was gone. Everton and David Moyes took him on, but he has yet to make much of an impact.
He missed the first five Premier League games with a groin injury and has so far only played five minutes in a 2-0 defeat at home to Chelsea.
He has had minimal cup action too, having played just four minutes against Newcastle in the League Cup round of 16.
The Dane looks back at full fitness now, so we will wait and see whether Moyes plays him more than Arteta did.
